Molner mold review:

 

Honesty and integrity best sums up my opinion of the mold eradication work performed for me at my lakefront cottage by Mr. Molner.

At the get go he clarified his primary focus when undertaking this type of project which was, let’s consciously work toward an obtainable 

solution. He said he would do all work personally, no subtracting. Pictures would be taken before/after of infected areas and any 

uncertain matters he would consult my approval. Where warranted, he would offer constructive recommendations such as ... installing

dehumidifiers or placing fans at strategic locations. He was noncommittal about the cost and timeframe for work mainly because,

because he said, “I honestly don’t know what I’m going to find ... especially under the house.” Being that this work was going to be done

in Penna. and I live out of state, I would have to take a rather huge leap of faith and trust in this man. Throughout the approximately 

eight month project, Mr. Molner stayed true to the original/official wording in the contract. Bottom line ... “YES” I would recommend him, 

with no reservations; sincerely, Jude C.

Quick service, trustworthy, reliable, thorough, professional, responsive. Completed several weeks of work on an inherited home I'm trying to sell while I live across the country.

Jim was fantastic. I called to ask for a quote and received a call back from Jim within a few hours. Every time I called/emailed I received a message back within 24hrs at most, and this was very important to me as I hired him for a job in NY while I'm living in CA. I had a death in the family 4yrs ago and the house developed mold and other issues in the meantime, but immediately I felt I could trust Jim and his crew to get the job done. He came back to me with a very detailed estimate of exactly what the problem was (a written summary including pictures) and a plan with exactly how he would fix it, and each step was itemized so I could feel comfortable about the price.

The basement had a lot of mold, along with other areas of the upper floors. As part of handling the mold, they sprayed the whole house and then wiped everything down, including inside all the cabinets, and HEPA vacuumed the whole house in conjunction with forced air ventilation. When they were done, the house looked amazing! I have another family member nearby who would check a few things for me at the house, and prior to Jim's visit she was very hesitant to enter the house, but afterwords she was extremely impressed with how much cleaner and safer everything was.

Not only did Jim handle the mold, but he's also a licensed contractor and is able to rebuild anything they had to tear out. Because of this, I also asked if he'd be willing to repair a big hole in the bathroom ceiling (leading to a small attic) so I wouldn't have to find another contractor I could trust to do repair work on an empty house. He also handled all the coordination with a few other business owners he knew and trusted to help with other tasks around the house. We had several trips worth of junk around the yard and various large items from inside the house that had to be scrapped, and Jim knew a guy who handled all of that and Jim handled the coordination so I only had to work with Jim. Jim also hauled some salvageable items to a family member's house in the next town since she wasn't able to move the items on her own, and helped with a few other things around the house too.  

Overall, Jim not only fulfilled and exceeded his duties in regards to the mold issue, but he greatly helped with other tasks I would typically characterize as needing a reliable and able-bodied family member for.

Jim is THE BEST. He was a complete professional from my very first call to him. He is extremely knowledgeable and I felt completely comfortable with him handling the job for my rental property (which is 2 states away from where I live). He guided me step by step, described all of the necessary processes and kept in daily contact with me AND my tenant. Even better, the job went more smoothly and quickly than he expected and he adjusted the price upon completion!! Nobody is that honest anymore! I feel very lucky to have found him and I will recommend him to everyone I know. Thank you so much Jim for handling my headache and fixing the issue.

Jim is totally experienced in mold remediation. Any question I asked him, he gave me a knowledgeable answer. Even with all his knowledge , he knows how to fix any mold problem. I'm so glad he helped me.

I really wish there were more stars here to rate Jim Molner and"".A Hold On Mold" From our very first telephone conversation it was clear that he is truly an expert in the field of mold . He knows how to properly assess any mold situation and treat it accordingly, big or small. When he came to inspect our home we were so happy with how much time he took to inspect every area . He also provided an education to both my husband and I in mold growth and how to avoid it.We learned many helpful tools in the prevention of mold growth. If you are facing a mold issue- I would highly recommend this man and company.He is so knowledgable and helpful.. plus he is a really nice guy. a pleasure to to business with,..Bridget and Robbie Walsh
